Coronavirus Tracker: 234 Positive Cases, Two New Deaths in North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND) -- A jump in all but one major number involving Coronavirus in North Dakota Tuesday.

The state department of health reported an additional 234 cases of the virus, including 101 in Cass County alone.

Two new deaths, a man in his 60s from Ward County and a man in his 70s from Williams County, were also reported.

The daily positivity rate jumped to 6.7%, while active cases also rose by 44 to 1,119 statewide.

The one number that did drop was hospitalizations, which fell by eight to 27 across all of North Dakota.

So far, 261,884 North Dakotans have received at least one dose of a Coronavirus Vaccine, while 478,083 total shots have been administered.
