300 new books donated to Moorhead, Detroit Lakes & Crookston libraries

MINNESOTA – Kids who love to read have more books to choose from thanks to a big donation.

Lake Agassiz Regional Library locations in Moorhead, Detroit Lakes and Crookston got 300 new children’s books from the Brownstone Book Fund in New York City.

“We are grateful to the Brownstone Book Fund for their commitment to fostering early reading in Minnesota,” said Liz Lynch, Executive Director of Lake Agassiz Regional Library. “Their generosity supports Lake Agassiz Regional Library’s commitment to encouraging early literacy through the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program.”

Some of the titles include “Make Way for Ducklings”, “Caps for Sale”, “Guess How Much I Love You” and “Madeline”.
