New Help For Farmers, Ranchers Hit By Drought

(Fargo, ND)  --  New help is available for farmers and ranchers hit by drought conditions.  The federal Rick Management Agency announced this week that it is working with crop insurance companies to make sure payments are made quickly and fairly.  RMA Acting Administrator Richard Flournoy says the emergency procedures will help expedite claims.  Farmers and ranchers are still hoping to get approval for emergency haying and grazing of Conservation Reserve Program land before August 1st, while the hay is still good quality.
