(Grand Forks, ND) -- The Grand Forks Police Department has announced that it will, once again, be hosting the Citizen’s Academy starting August 31st and will be running until October 26th.
The Academy will allow community members to immerse themselves within the GFPD and engage with officers on every facet of their jobs.
This program will give individuals an opportunity to experience mock investigations, special operation group practices, firearm use and safety, general use of force, and much more.
The Academy runs Tuesdays each week from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for a total of 8 classes plus a graduation ceremony night and will be located initially at the Grand Forks Police Department.
