(Perham, MN) -- An Illinois man is recuperating in a Fargo hospital after being hit by a pickup truck near Perham early Friday morning.
The Minnesota State Highway Patrol says that 25-year-old Giovanni Winters was walking along Highway 10 just after midnight when he was hit by Dustin Tigges' pickup.
Tigges, who was driving a GMC Sierra, was uninjured.
Winters was hospitalized for what officials say are non-life-threatening injuries. The crash report does say that Winters was intoxicated when the crash happened.
