The original Moorhead Dairy Queen, 24 S. 8th St., Moorhead, is celebrating Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 29.
Stop by and say hi to Scott Hennen from What's on Your Mind, Paul and Janae from The Coffee Club, and Flag Family Meteorologist Dean Wysocki... Eat some ice cream to help a great cause!
We will be broadcasting LIVE from the Moorhead Dairy Queen, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
100% of the proceeds from each Blizzard® and Blizzard® coupon sale will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network benefiting Sanford Children’s. The nationwide Miracle Treat Day will take place on Thursday, Oct. 28. Due to the unpredictable weather pattern in October, the original Moorhead Dairy Queen location decided to host Miracle Treat Day in the summer.
Since 1984, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $159 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, The Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives.
Last year, the Moorhead Dairy Queen locations donated over $13,000 in proceeds from a variety of fundraising efforts for Sanford Children’s. Donations support life-saving research, special treatments, equipment and charitable care.
