The Downtown Fargo Gift Card is Going Digital

(Fargo, ND) -- It is now easier than ever to support local with the Downtown Fargo Gift Card.

The Downtown Community Partnership is shifting from a physical gift card, to a digital e-card. The new digital gift cards can now be purchased online in minutes and are available for you to send immediately as a gift via text or email. The gift cards can also be printed for those looking to include it in a card or gift.

“The new digital gift cards make it faster and simpler to get a gift for all life’s special occasions,” says Development Coordinator Lora Larson. “Not only is it a unique and thoughtful gift, but you are also supporting our local and independent small businesses with each purchase.”

The Downtown Community Partnership introduced the gift card program in December 2017. Since then, the card has helped keep over $250,000 in the Downtown Fargo Neighborhood. The gift card has also been a great way for businesses to reward their employees and customers and while allowing them to continue giving back to their community by keeping their dollars local.

"There are so many unique experiences and special products that can only be had or found in Downtown Fargo, which means no matter what the individual's interests are, they are destined to find something they love to spend their gift card on," says Danyel Moe, Marketing Coordinator at Kilbourne Group

The digital Downtown Fargo Gift Card can be purchased at Downtownfargo.com where you can also view a list of participating locations. The new digital card will be accepted at over 35 participating locations with new locations being added weekly making it a great gift for those that want to eat, shop, stay, or play in Downtown Fargo. The physical gift card will continue to be accepted at the merchants listed online until the balance on the cards are used up.
