Moorhead Area Public Schools Reverse Course on Mask Strategy

(Moorhead, MN) -- After originally deciding against mask mandates for the school district, Moorhead Area Public Schools have shifted course just a week before classes start.

The School Board voted Monday evening to reinstate the masking policy, which requires all students, teachers and visitors mask up universally to start the school year.

June 30th, the board rescinded the mandate, but since cases are now spiking in the area, it has been renewed.

Moorhead Schools now join Fargo Public Schools and Grand Forks as other area districts to mandate masks.
