(Grand Forks, ND) -- Multiple agencies worked hand in hand in stopping a suspected human trafficking operation Thursday.
The Grand Forks Police Department has announced three arrests after conducting a human trafficking operation. Officials say Thursday they were able to get three males into custody after they reportedly "hired an individual to engage in sexual activity". This act is a Class B misdemeanor in North Dakota..which is punishable by up to 30 days in jail or a $1,000 fine.
GFPD was assisted by The Dickinson Police Department, North Dakota BCI and Homeland Security.
