Liquor Control Board Gives Recommendation For Africa Nightclub

(Fargo, ND) -- By a vote of 4-1, the Fargo Liquor Control Board has voted to recommend the Africa Nightclub have it's liquor license suspended for another 30 days pending new management take the helm.

The Board voiced a few concerns from the business's hearing Wednesday afternoon, including the roster sheet for those who would be working for the club.

Multiple members also stated they believe the business brings good service to the area, while Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski continues to recommend the club be shut down.

The Fargo City Commission will now take up the recommendation from the board at their next meeting, which takes place at 4 p.m. Monday, September 20th.
