(Grand Forks, ND) -- A big, free event is being held as the NDSU Bison head up to Grand Forks for the first time in 18 years to battle the Fighting Hawks in Football.
The "Rays Chipping Clinic and Putting Competition" will be held Saturday at Ray Richards Golf Course. This is just ahead of the big football game between the University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University at the Alerus Center, and will feature the UND women's golf team.
The UND team will hold a putting and chipping competition on-site. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with the chipping clinic, followed by a chipping competition at 10:30 a.m., the putting clinic at 11 a.m., and a putting competition at 11:30 a.m.
The clinic is free. There will also be free food. No registration is necessary. Both clinics will conclude with competitions. Winners can earn free golf, gift certificates and other prizes.
