Benefit Ride Planned for Girl Hit by Semi in Crookston

(Crookston, MN) -- As a 10-year-old girl struck by a semi continues to fight for her life, the city of Crookston is doing all they can to rally around her.

A motorcycle benefit ride has been scheduled for October 16th for Kaylee Acevedo to help raise money for her family. Acevedo has had her right leg amputated and undergone numerous other surgeries after being hit by the semi Monday evening in Crookston.

The benefit begins at 11am in the Walmart parking lot, and will end with a barbeque at Highland Park. The cost per vehicle is $20.
