Update: West Fargo Police Officer transferred to Nebraska Medical Center

Tim Brown, the West Fargo Police Officer who suffered a major heart attack on Oct. 31, 2021, was transferred to Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha Sunday afternoon to receive specialized care.

The West Fargo Police Department confirmed to WDAY Radio that the officer was transferred by medical flight to the medical center. The medical team states that Officer Brown is on a ventilator and a heart bypass machine. He remains in critical condition but the team also says he has been showing positive signs for recovery, like opening his eyes. 

Officer Brown has been a member of the West Fargo Police Department since Jan.18th, 2021 and was sworn into the department on Oct 18th. Officer Brown served in the United States Army for four years as an active-duty combat medic.
