(Fargo, ND) -- The Fargo Police Department is working to control street racing in the city.
Authorities say they have issued more than 70 citations over the course of a week. Chief Dave Zibolski says authorities are increasing enforcement of speeding violations after complaints from residents. The majority of citations were issued between the 12-hundred and 17-hundred blocks of Tenth Street North.
The department is also supporting new tactics to control racing and speeding in the city, including a legislative solution.
