(West Fargo, ND)-- Taren Klein, the 13 year old boy involved in a serious car accident while riding his bicycle near the Cash Wise in West Fargo has been transferred to a St.Paul hospital for rehabilitation services. His family says that he still doesn't have the ability to walk or speak and is suffering from a traumatic brain injury, following a serious car accident in September.

On September 25th, one day after Klein's 13th birthday he headed to the Cash Wise off Veterans Boulevard but never made it home. He was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle and was left with multiple fractures to his skull and a broken femur. Luckily, there was multiple medical professionals nearby that were able to perform life-saving procedures before the ambulance was able to bring him to the hospital.

"It's just kind of, little tiny steps over the last 58 days." -John-Paul Klein (Taren's father on his road to recovery)

Taren was flown to St.Paul to begin his rehabilitation process on Monday morning. His family has high hopes for his recovery and they have created a Caring Bridge page for those who want to follow along Taren's recovery journey.
