Fargo teen strikes pedestrian with car

(Fargo, ND) -- A man has suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car Monday evening in Fargo.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol, along with Fargo Police Department, responded to the scene at the intersection of 25th street south and 13th avenue south after the car, driven by an 18-year-old Fargo teen, struck the man while driving through a green light.

The driver did pull over following the crash, and is cooperating with law enforcement. The man struck was take via FM ambulance to Sanford hospital.

Traffic was impacted for several hours as emergency crews and first responders worked the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
