(Fargo, ND) -- The Fargo Police Department is alerting residents of a high-risk sex offender who walked away from Centre, Inc. The site, located at 123 15th Street North in Fargo, is described as a "residential re-entry facility". The man is identified as Christopher Paul James Morrison. He left the facility at approximately 9 p.m. on Monday, December 13th. Centre, Inc.contacted Fargo Police and officers sent alerts to local and regional law enforcement agencies.
Morrison is on Federal probation, but this incident is not considered an escape from custody. The 21-year-old does have active warrants for his arrest out of Morton County North Dakota.
Morrison is Native American, stands about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. Local law enforcement along with Federal probation is actively attempting to find Morrison. Anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
