Fargo students to be given meals for holiday season

(Fargo, ND) -- The Forward Foundation and Power Plate Meals are looking to provide holiday meal bags to more than 700 Fargo Public School students and their families.

The meal bags will be given out in school buildings across the district today and Wednesday. The meal bags feed 4-6 people and include Turkey or beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, candied carrots, dinner rolls and a desert.

Here is a list of times and schools that are participating in the Fargo School District...

The following schools will receive their school’s meal bags between 10:30 and 1:30 on December 21, and school personnel will distribute them to the students/families:

Clara Barton Elementary
Explorer Academy
Longfellow Elementary
Hawthorne Elementary
Dakota High School and Early Childhood Special Education

o These programs are in the same building.

Lincoln Elementary
Centennial Elementary
McKinley Elementary
Carl Ben Eielson Middle School
Eagles Elementary
Jefferson Elementary

The following schools will receive their school’s meal bags around 10:30 on December 22, and school personnel will distribute them to the students/families:
