(Otter Tail County, MN) -- Two people are seriously injured after the SUV they were riding in collided with a train in Otter Tail County. It happened Tuesday afternoon at 4:00. A 2001 Ford Explorer being driven by Jonathan Schall traveling southbound crossed the railroad crossing near the intersection of Pikewood Lane and County Highway 80. The SUV was struck by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe locomotive. The driver and the passenger were taken to Perham Health ER by ambulance. Perham Fire and Perham Ambulance responded to the scene. The accident is under investigation.
