(Valley City, ND) -- A Valley City man is under arrest, facing child abuse-related charges.
Police say the investigation into 31-year-old Raul Canales Fuentes was initiated by his son's school. According to reports, a school resource officer noticed signs of abuse and reported it to police and the Buffalo Bridges Human Services department.
Fuentes is facing up to five years in prison if convicted.
