(Cass County, ND) -- The Cass County Sheriff's office has identified the spread of  COVID-19 inside the Cass County Jail.

As a precautionary measure, the jail moved to operate under "Isolation Procedures". The measure enforces a modified jail lockdown and changes how prisoner intake is performed in the facility. Cass County jail is still accepting individuals who pose a risk to the community.

As of now, the number of inmates affected is unknown, but no one is experiencing medical difficulties.
