(Alexandria, MN) -- A Minnesota 3M employee is dead after a workplace accident.
Authorities say the female worker at the Alexandria facility became trapped in machinery Tuesday during an overnight shift. Company officials say proper emergency response protocols were used in the incident and that police and fire departments and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration were notified.
An investigation by Minnesota OSHA is underway.
