Update: Power fully restored for 3000+ Fargo and West Fargo residents

Update (7:30 p.m. Monday) -- All accounts were restored as of 7:30 pm.  The cause of the outage was found to be an equipment failure.

(Fargo, ND) -- An estimated 3239 households are experiencing a power outage in Fargo and West Fargo.

Power company Cass County Electric Cooperative (CCEC) says members south of 32nd Ave S in neighborhoods on both sides of I-29 are affected by the outage. The cause is unknown at this time. 

Crews are currently working to restore power and investigate the cause of the outage. Stay with WDAY Radio for more updates that will be issued as more information is recieved
