(Fargo, ND) -- Multiple events are approaching fast on the calendar when it comes to giving to those who need it the most.
'Dine to Donate' is an event happening on Wednesday sponsored by Golden Drive for Homeless Kids and both Culver's locations in Fargo and West Fargo. The locations will be donating 20% of all sales between 11am - 2pm and 5pm - 8pm to the Golden Drive for Homeless Kids.
Founder of Golden Drive for Homeless Kids Sue Baron says multiple businesses have called ahead at the Culver's locations, ordering multiple dozen burgers at at time to give to their staff members. You can place your order ahead of time at either Culver's location by calling 701-850-7362.
Another event looking to help Golden Drive for Homeless Kids comes from a food donation drive coming up in March. Sue says every Starbucks location is participating in the food drive. Drop-off locations for the drive include Starbucks, West Fargo Police and Fire Departments. Sue adds that if you bring 5 items or more to any Starbucks over three weeks, they will give you a free tall coffee.
Sue says canned foods, cup-o-noodles, peanut butter and jelly, nuts, breakfast bars, and other easy to store items are great to donate. The items will be given directly to homeless kids in the Fargo Moorhead area.
