(Dalton, MN) -- A man was killed in a crash on I-94 in Otter Tail county Thursday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the driver of a pickup was stopped in one of the eastbound driving lanes near Dalton when his pickup was hit by a semi. The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m.
The victim was 53-year-old Waldemar Esweinman, from British Columbia. The driver of the semi was not hurt.
Esweinman was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Troopers are still investigating the crash.
