(Omaha, NE) -- A UND hockey fan is facing charges after allegedly assaulting another man at a college game last week in Nebraska.

University of Nebraska Omaha police say 22-year-old Tyrese Murph got into a verbal altercation with 60-year-old Stephen Thomas in the stands at the March 4th game between the Fighting Hawks and UNO Mavericks. Police also say Murph pushed Thomas down a set of about 20 stairs at the arena.

Thomas suffered a large head wound. Murph is currently in custody in Douglas County, Nebraska.
