(Fargo, ND) -- A trial is underway for a man accused of a deadly Fargo shooting.
Prosecutors say 40-year-old Raymond Gunn shot 41-year-old Eric Hayes to death last July in the parking lot of the Loaf 'N Jug in the 12-hundred block of North University Drive, right across the street from NDSU.
Gunn's attorneys claim the defendant fired in self-defense to protect himself from a knife-wielding Hayes. Prosecutors say Gunn was the aggressor in the attack.
Testimony in the trial continues Thursday.
