(Fargo, ND) -- Some good and some concerning news coming out of the Fargo School Board meeting this past week.

Fargo School Board President Rebecca Knutson stopped by WDAY Midday to talk about the fallout from the meeting.

"If you are working as a substitute in the Fargo School District, or want to, you are going to be paid more," said Knutson after the decision was made to increase pay for subs. There was also some controversy after a 6-2 vote decided that the pledge of allegiance will be played at the beginning of every meeting moving forward. "We'll also have the color guard in for out next meeting as well. It'll be the first time we do this, which is great."

As for a possible run at her seat on the school board again, Knutson says she is grateful for all the support she has recieved in being elected and re-elected to the board, and that a decision will come soon on what is next for her.
