Assaults, burglaries, drug overdoses increasing in Grand Forks

(Grand Forks, ND) -- Grand Forks Police say they're seeing and increase in several types of crimes.

The department released its annual Uniform Crime Report this week, which showed increased in reports of rape, burglary, aggravated assault, and auto theft last year.

The city also says there was also an uptick in the number of drug overdose calls over the past year. Authorities say the opioid crisis is continuing to affect the community.
