SkyWatch Weather Seasonal Outlook Special This Wednesday

SkyWatch Meterologist Justin Storm here, and spring is finally here and that means EXTREMELY variable weather.

If you are an active listener or reader, you're probably familiar with the LRC weather modeling system (Lezak Recurring Cycle).

If you are new to the LRC...every fall, a unique weather pattern sets up and then recycles through the year ahead until a new cycle starts the following fall.
This cycle generally falls between 40 and 60 days, sometimes shorter and other years longer. This year's LRC cycle has been identified as a 63.5 to 64 day cycle.

If you're interested in the LRC and want to learn more about it, or ask questions, then mark your calendar for this Wednesday, April 27th at 2pm

We're hosting another SkyWatch Weather Seasonal Outlook special. This two hour special will focus on the LRC seasonal outlook for the rest of spring and summer and how it impacts growers and producers in the upper midwest.

I'll be joined by our Chief Meteorologist Dean Wysocki, and the founder of the LRC, Gary Lezak, Chief Meteorologist at KSHB-TV in Kansas City.

AG Director Bridgette Readel will join the conversation as well, to bring an agri-industry perspective to the weather outlook at what it could mean for growers this planting season.

Join us from 2:00 PM - 4:00 P.M. CDT live on the air on WDAY AM 970, WZFG AM 1100 and KTGO AM 1090, plus an extra hour of Q&A on WDAY Radio with Jay Thomas. Your calls are welcome and encouraged 701-293-9000.
