(Moorhead, MN) -- The Republican Party in District 4 in Minnesota has officially endorsed Dan Bohmer for state senate.
"I think my experience in the military, as a leader in the business community, as well as my experience on Moorhead City Council serve us well down in St. Paul, said Bohmer.
Bohmer was endorsed with 85% of the vote during the convention, which took place at the Garrick Theater in Hawley.
The candidate has spent the past 16 years operating and managing a nuclear pharmacy in Moorhead. He retired in 2020 after a nearly four-decade military career. His service included time in the Minnesota Army National Guard, where he served as the commander of the 134th Brigade Support Battalion and the Deputy State Surgeon.
Bohmer said his priorities include tackling rising crime rates and addressing inflation.
