(Fargo, ND) -- Dr. David Cook is joining North Dakota State University as its 15th president.
Cook officially took the reigns as President Tuesday, and is taking over for Dean Bresciani, who had been with NDSU since 2010.
Cook was previously Vice Chancellor of Public Affairs and Economic Development at the University of Kansas. He says he wants to see how the university is "aligned with the economic needs of the state."
