(Moorhead, MN) -- Minnesotans will soon have a new option for getting tested and treated for COVID-19.

Governor Tim Walz announced Wednesday that three COVID test-and-treat sites will be set up in Brooklyn Park, Moorhead, and Duluth. The sites will provide free COVID testing as part of a partnership between the state and the federal government.

Those who test positive and are considered high-risk can receive a prescription for medication at the same time at no cost. The Brooklyn Park site opens Friday, while the Moorhead location goes live June 13th and Duluth will offer the program starting June 14th.
