(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Police are sharing their active shooter response plans with the Police Advisory and Oversight Board.

The committee asked questions Thursday evening about response scenarios after the recent deadly mass shooting at a Uvalde, Texas middle school. The department says officers would not wait to engage a suspect who may be harming innocent civilians.

The Uvalde Police Department is facing criticism for reportedly waiting more than an hour to enter the classroom where the school shooter was in.
