Disturbance leads to stabbing in South Fargo

(Fargo, ND) -- One person was hospitalized after suffering injuries in a South Fargo stabbing Wednesday evening.

The Fargo Police Department tells WDAY Radio that at 6:15 p.m, officers responded to a disturbance call in the 1000 block of Page Drive.

The individuals involved in the incident are apparently known to each other, and have been interviewed by the department. One individual sustained a non-life threatening stab wound and was transferred to a local healthcare facility for treatment.

A small trail of blood can be seen in the parking lot next to the Sparklight building on the street. Some residents reported possibly hearing gunshots in the area, but that has not been confirmed by Fargo Police.

The investigation is on-going, and no additional details were made available as of Wednesday night.
