(Fargo, ND) -- Both pro-life and pro-choice advocates exchanged words at an abortion rally located outside Fargo City Hall.

Hundreds of pro-choice advocates gathered in the public space outside of Fargo's City Hall to voice their opposition to the U.S Supreme Court's actions which overturned Roe V. Wade in a 6-3 decision in June. A pro-life group gathered a short distance away, holding signs and sharing their prospective.

"We are here to celebrate the fact that the Supreme Court decided to uphold the right to life over any other 'right'," said a Pro-life protester in attendance, "We are here to share our perspective, and we would love to have a conversation."

The rally also staged a walk through downtown Fargo, which started at City Hall, went through Broadway, and ended back at the speaking grounds. Pro-choice advocates shared chants, held signs, and supported each other in voicing their opposition to the high-court's decision.

"We need to have access to safe means for abortion - and not back alley means, not illegal, non medical means of abortion. "said a pro-choice attendee,"We are taking a right away from people, not giving one to people, not sustaining one for people."
