Mayor Mahoney to release preliminary budget July 28th

(Fargo, ND) -- The City of Fargo will be publishing their preliminary budget later this week.

Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney will be sharing the preliminary budget plans at a special session scheduled on Thursday at 12:00 p.m within the City Commission Chambers. In previous conversations regarding the city's budget , Mahoney has said the mayor's position will become a full-time one, which will take part of the expected preliminary budget moving forward.

Mahoney also cited rising costs across the country as factors for the decisions made within the preliminary budget, saying the city needs to ensure they will "take care of our people."
