(Fargo, ND) -- Lady A is canceling concerts in Fargo, Minot and Sioux Falls, as well as the rest of its 2022 Fall tour.

A message from the band said that Charles Kelley would be working on his sobriety.

"Being on the road with our fans is our greatest joy, so it was a hard but important decision to make," said the band on Social Media Thursday. "We are a band, but more importantly, we’re family. We’re proud to say that Charles has embarked on a journey to sobriety. So, right now in order to be the healthiest, strongest and most creative band we can be, Lady A will take the time with the support of our families and team of professionals to walk through this together. It’s early on this road, but we are determined to do what will best set us up for many more years together. We’re grateful for your patience."

Lady A had been scheduled to perform in Fargo on September 30th at Scheels Arena, and in Minot the night before as part of Norsk Høstfest. Festival organizers are now searching for two main act replacements.

In June, it was announced that Toby Keith would no longer be performing at Høstfest after he canceled his remaining 2022 tour due to a cancer diagnosis.

Lady A does say they plan to re-schedule their tour dates missed in 2023.
