(Leonard, ND)  --  No charges are being filed against a longtime bus driver in a crash that left a bus with children on it into the Maple River.

Prosecutors say 62-year-old Andy Bunn suffered a medical emergency in the moments that led up to the Enderlin Area School District bus crashing.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office says the bus went through a guardrail on September 23rd and jumped an embankment before coming to rest in the river. Seven students and the driver were on board.

Bunn and three students were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
