(West Fargo, ND) -- After opening over two years ago in the heat of the pandemic, a West Fargo restaurant is now set to close up shop.

The owners of Stone Town Grill took to social media to announce they are closing their location due to 'obstacles outweighing opportunities' since they opened.

"Since our ill-timed opening in November 2020, the obstacles to running this business have always outweighed the opportunities. Marty and I have put all that we could into this place, but with all the ways covid changed the world and the ongoing economic difficulties to our industry, we simply are unable to continue," said the post on the Restaurant's Facebook page.

Ownership thanked patrons and their staff for over two years of work in the post.

"We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us these last two years - with your business, your encouragement, your prayers - we appreciate you and have been honored to serve you! We are equally appreciative of our wonderful staff that have been so loyal and worked so hard to bring guests a great dining experience. We wish great things for each of you as you move on to other pursuits. We are grateful for the extra time spent with each of Marty’s kids and his niece, who all worked at Stone Town. The quality time and camaraderie were special to share."

Stone Town Grill's last day open will be this Sunday, December 4th.
