West Fargo felon charged with threatening to murder United States official

(Fargo, ND) -- A 69-year-old felon from West Fargo is charged with one count of threatening to murder a United States Official. Following a revocation hearing November 17th, Department of Justice officials in Minneapolis say Robert Philip Ivers made rude gestures toward a probation officer, and said he would get someone to kill the officer. Ivers was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday. He was previously convicted and sent to prison in 2018 for threatening to murder a federal judge. Ivers spent 11 months in prison for that conviction.
