(Harwood, ND) -- A Fargo man is behind bars after leading law enforcement on a high speed chase with a motorcycle.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol tells WDAY Radio that troopers attempted to stop the driver of the motorcycle, 29-year-old Chase Dubord, around 1:45 p.m. Sunday after clocking him going 71mph in a 55 zone on I-29 near the 19th avenue north exit.

Dubord then sped up to roughly 120 mph during the chase, before exiting in Harwood and eventually crashing his motorcycle near the intersection of Main and Bender Avenues.

Dubord then tried to run on foot, and was caught by the highway patrol after a brief chase.

The Fargo man faces several charges, including fleeing a police officer, driving under revocation, carrying a concealed weapon and DUI.

He was not hurt in the initial crash of the motorcycle, and no officers were injured in the pursuit of Dubord, who is now being held in the Cass County Jail.
