(Fargo, ND) -- You have the opportunity to get a first-hand look on a possible new project in the City of Fargo.

An open house for a proposed mixed-use development on the 1600 block of University Drive South is scheduled for Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the Sky Commons room in the Civic Center, at 207 4th Street North.

BLOC Partners, LLC is proposing a five-story building with heated parking and 127 apartments. Amenities listed include nine-foot ceilings, a roof-top patio and a dog wash. The plans also include several businesses being installed inside the building, including Duane's House of Pizza.

The plan also includes three drive-thru businesses on site. Duane’s House of Pizza will be one of the businesses staying and moving into the new building. Interested residents and community members are encouraged to attend to review and comment on the project.

Members of the Fargo City Commission, Planning Commission, Community Development Committee, Arts and Culture Commission, Board of Adjustment and Historic Preservation Commission have been invited to attend the information meeting.

The proposed $30 million project is currently slated to start next Spring. The City Commission is not expected to take formal action or consideration of the proposal until their January 3rd meeting.
