West Fargo "Battle of The Badges" blood drive competition approaching final day

(West Fargo, ND) -- West Fargo's finest are teaming up in their fourth annual blood drive, but are doing so by competing head-to-head.

The Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is a collaboration between the city's first responders and Vitalant, a blood donation organization. Individuals can decide which department they would like to dedicate their donation to. The department with the most donation dedications will receive an award that is kept at the department, until the next Battle of the Badges Blood Drive

“The annual Battle of the Badges blood drive is one of our department’s favorite events,” said Police Chief Denis Otterness. “Donating blood is a great way to fill a critical need in our community and help others this holiday season.”

The event runs until Thursday, December 29th, between 9 a.m and 1:30 p.m at the West Fargo Conference Center at the DoubleTree by Hilton. You can sign up for the blood drive by clicking here.
