Moorhead woman charged with DWI in incident involving car fire

(Moorhead, MN) -- A Moorhead woman has been charged with DWI involving a response to a car fire in the city.

Moorhead Police tell WDAY Radio that officers got a call for a vehicle on fire in the 1800 block of 5th avenue south just before 7 p.m. Monday night.

When they arrived, the car was fully engulfed in flames and stuck in a snowbank. The occupants of the car, including 46-year-old Jessica Neuleib, were able to get out okay.

Neuleib was arrested for driving while intoxicated however due to witness statements and an investigation. She was booked into the Clay County Jail, then later released with the misdemeanor DWI charge.

The car is a total loss.
