(Fargo, ND) -- A big announcement was made Thursday for downtown Moorhead.
Mayor Shelly Carlson says local developer and architect Kevin Bartram has purchased the US Bank building, and plans to turn the building into a hotel.
No other details are available, but Carlson says the hotel will help draw visitors to the downtown area, which will soon undergo a major revitalization.
