$6 billion for education coming to state of N.D. after federal lawsuit

WASHINGTON – The state of North Dakota will receive federal education money for after-school programs after all.

The Office of Management and Budget approved freezing nearly $1.5 billion in grants from going to the state.

This comes weeks after a national lawsuit pressured the Trump administration to release roughly $6 billion which was frozen June 30th.
