(Fargo, ND) -- With Super Bowl LVII just days away, the personal-finance website WalletHub Monday released its report on 2023’s Best & Worst Cities for Football Fans, and Fargo should be proud of the results.
The city came in 4th best in the mid-sized city portion of the study, which compared more than 240 across the country with at least one college or professional football team.
The Personal Fiance Website based the study on 21 key metrics, including the number of NFL and college football teams to stadium capacity to fan engagement.
Some key areas where Fargo turned out well include:
- 1st – Performance Level of College Football (FBS & FCS) Team(s)
- 1st – Number of College Football Championship Wins
- 84th – College Football Fan Engagement
Overall, Fargo ranked 34th best total among all cities in the rankings, including major markets.
