The Flag's Chris Berg hosts final broadcast; moving closer to family while pursuing new opportunity

(Fargo, ND) -- During his last broadcast Friday, Flag Family Radio's Chris Berg looked back over his years working as a radio host and as a TV commentator here in the FM metro.

"Just thank you from the bottom of my heart to Scott Hennen for just saying, you know what, give it a shot, take this hour, see what happens, next thing you know I was doing some more and then all of a sudden, TV opens up," said Berg.

For the past 16 months, Berg hosted the "Chris Berg Show" on AM 1100 The Flag. The conservative host joined the station after being fired from Valley News Live for not complying with the station's vaccine mandate. Berg and his guests focused on politics, news, and culture, and frequently talked about issues related to faith, family and freedom. Berg is moving to California to be closer to family and to pursue a new professional opportunity.

Berg also expressed gratitude to Flag Family Media President Steve Hallstrom for giving him an opportunity at the station.

Berg's last broadcast is posted at the audio link above.
