(West Fargo, ND) -- L.E. Berger Elementary in West Fargo will soon need to find a new Principal.
At Monday night's District School Board meeting, it was announced that current Principal Brian Peterson will step away from the position effective June 30th.
Peterson became the 4th principal in L.E. Berger history in 2019. Peterson has been with West Fargo Public Schools since 2013, and had served in the roles of fifth grade teacher at Liberty Middle School, fifth grade teacher at Independence Elementary School, assistant principal at Westside Elementary School and assistant principal at L.E. Berger.
It is unclear why Peterson is resigning from the position.
